Custom Silk Scarf Sizes
These are the dimensions of our personalized silk scarves, you will find "classic" sizes and measurements and usually used by the largest brands.
We produce handcrafted silk scarves using the traditional process of the Como Silk District, the size of the scarf may be reduced slightly during processing and hand hemming.

Material of the scarves
To make our custom scarves we use only the following. 100% Silk Twill weighing 52 grams per square meter.
Our scarves are dry cleanable and we recommend ironing them inside out at very low temperatures.
Photo à Porter is not interested in making polyester scarves; we prefer the real, high-quality stuff to what we are used to.
Hems and Seams
Our silk scarves can be hand-hemmed o hand hemmed machine.
L'hand hemming is a craftsmanship that makes your scarf a true one-of-a-kind piece, a perfect solution if you want to make a fine collection of the highest quality.
L'hand hemming machine involves using a machine that simulates the hand to hem the long sides of the scarf, while the corners are closed by hand. A great solution for gifts and fancy gadgets or photo prints.
Scarf label
Our scarves have a fabric label sewn on the hem, indicating the fabric composition ("100% silk"), thesource ("Made in Italy") and the symbols of care.
The label is brand-neutral, so it does not include the brand Photo à Porter For custom scarves.
For orders over 100 units, you can create and include the own brand label, but keep in mind that this involves a cost and a additional production time. We believe that the traditional labels On the scarves be bulky and unsightly, and that customers may try to cut them off, risking damage the hem.
